Alzheimer’s is an epidemic that is out of control. I want to make sure every one of my Ageless Beauty readers knows the “secret” protocol that can prevent and possibly even reverse this dreaded disease.
This protocol is “secret” because medical doctors don’t know about it and even if they did they would not legally be allowed to prescribe it. Why? In the United States traditional medical doctors, or what is known as “western medicine” is based on surgery, radiation, chemotherapy, and prescription drugs. If a “western doctor” prescribes anything outside of these parameters, i.e. superfoods, supplements, etc. they run the risk of losing their license.
On top of that, the media rarely reports on “natural or alternative cures”. Why? 71% of their revenue comes from pharmaceutical advertising.
First off some frightening statistics that should wake everyone up.
As you can see from the above information, Alzheimers is the 6th leading cause of death.
According to the National Cancer Institute the number of deaths each year from
- Breast Cancer 40,450
- Prostate Cancer 26,120
More people are dying each year from Alzheimers than breast cancer and prostate cancer combined.
Statistics show that
- 1 in 3 seniors dies with Alzheimer’s disease.
- Between 2000 and 2013 deaths attributed to Alzheimer’s disease increased 71%.
Common sense says we need to look at what we are doing differently as a country that has caused this epidemic.
First let’s look at what we do know about Alzheimers Disease.
Alzheimer’s disease is a chronic form of dementia that gradually results in severe memory loss and even death.
The brains of Alzheimer’s patients have an excess production of a tiny protein called beta-amyloid which jams the signals between the brain synapses, which blocks the flow of information. Tangles of another protein called “tau” also build up inside of brain cells. Both of these proteins are suspected in damaging and killing nerve cells. This leads to memory failure, personality changes, and problems carrying out daily activities.
There is also evidence that aluminum, which has been found in excess in the brains of alzheimer’s patients may play a role.
There has been push back against long term studies on the connection between aluminum and alzheimers from the corporations that make aluminum products such as aluminum cookware, anti-perspirants, aluminum foil, cosmetics and even vaccines. Yes vaccines do contain aluminum.
Sadly, profits are often put ahead of people.
Scientist already know that aluminum is a neurotoxin that targets the central nervous system which can lead to serious immunological and neurodegenerative disorders.
So if aluminum is a known neurotoxin and it is being found in excess amounts in the brains of Alzheimer patients, then maybe just maybe we should avoid aluminum.
Sugar may also play a part in the Alzheimer’s Epidemic
Recent research shows there is a powerful connection between your diet and your risk of developing Alzheimer’s disease. Sugar and other carbohydrates have been shown to disrupt brain function as well as contribute to the shrinking of your hippocampus.
The hippocampus is located in the center of the head and is primarily associated with memory and spatial navigation.
A shrinking hippocampus is a hallmark symptom of Alzheimers.
There have been many studies done on the dangers of sugar but they are being withheld from the public and even the world at large. The World Health Organization (WHO) published a paper on sugar, recommending a 10 percent limit on added sugars, stating that added sugars “threaten the nutritional quality of diets”.
The Sugar Association immediately sent a letter to the director general warning him that unless WHO withdrew the study, the Sugar Association would persuade the US Congress to withdraw the WHO’s federal funding.
The following year, when WHO published its global health strategy on diet and health, there was no mention of the offending sugar study.
Sadly once again profits over people.
The link between brain inflammation and Alzheimer’s is well-established, but there’s a growing body of evidence that suggests this inflammation could be the cause of the disorder rather than the result of it. Theoretically, that means if the inflammation can be stopped, so can Alzheimer’s – or at least some of the effects of it.
Diet can definitely play a part in inflammation. One of the biggest problems in our modern diet is the ratio of Omega 3 essential fatty acids to Omega 6 EFAs. The correct ratio is 1 Omega 3 for every 4 Omega 6. The average American is consuming only 1 Omega 3 for every 20 Omega 6’s.
This causes inflammation.
Omega 3 Essential Fatty Acids are found in Walnuts, Wild Salmon, Sardines, Flax Seed Oil. Omega 6 EFA’s are found in vegetable oils such as safflower, corn, and canola. Every time you consume processed food you are consuming Omega 6’s EFA’s.
The brain must have plenty of Omega 3 Essential Fatty Acids to operate at optimum levels.
Other Alzheimer causes and contributing factors include:
- Microbes in the brain – microbes are tiny microorganisms that are not visible to the naked eye and can include bacteria, funghi and viruses.
- Heavy metals such as mercury from fish, silver dental fillings, and vaccines.
- Lyme Disease
- High Blood Pressure
- Prescription Drugs
- Illegal Drugs
- Diet high in processed foods
- Aspartame, Monosodium Glutamate aka MSG,
- Sleeping Pills
- Magnesium deficiency
- Lack of oxygen – can happen with aging and lack of exercise
