When it comes to your health there is only one thing that will ever heal you, your immune system. If your immune system is not working you are going to get sick more often, and you are going to age much faster.

You see no matter what you get, a cough, cold, flu, even cancer, you can try to get rid of the symptoms, but the only thing that “cures” you is your own immune system.

Here is the scary part. If you are exposed or consume anything on this list then your immune system is most likely not as strong as it should be.

When you are exposed to this crap it feeds the “bad bacteria” in your gut causing it to grow and out number the “good bacteria”. If your “gut flora” is out of balance, not only is your immune system not as strong as it should be but studies show it can cause all sorts of weight issues, such as bloating, weight gain, and struggles with weight loss. It can even be an underlying cause of depression.

Hmmmm no wonder depression, disease and obesity is rampant in America.

Here is where it gets really interesting.

Did you know that 80 percent of your immune system is located in your digestive system? I certainly didn’t know this until I did some research. What’s even more amazing is that when you were a fetus your brain and your immune system were one and then as you developed it split into 2 parts, one going to the brain and one going to the digestive system. That is why the immune system/digestive system is called the 2nd brain.

Your body contains about 100 trillion bacteria, which is ten times the number of cells you have in your body. The ideal ratio of bacteria is 85% good and 15% bad. Maintaining this “gut flora” ratio has 30 beneficial pharmalogical actions including:

Cathey’s Yogurt Recipe

  • 32 ozs. Organic Raw Grass-fed Whole Milk
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla
  • 2 – 3 tablespoons of raw honey
  • ¼ teaspoon of sea salt
  • 1 yogurt starter

Slowly warm mixture over medium flame stirring constantly until mixture is warm to touch. (If you over heat, it will destroy all the naturally occurring enzymes, which is the biggest reason to buy raw unpasteurized milk in the first place.) Stir in yogurt starter. Pour into individual glass containers. Put in yogurt maker and turn to 9 hours. Once done store in the refrigerator. You will have delicious and super probiotic nutritious yogurt that will last for 10 days. I like to add chopped fruit, nuts, and ground flax and chia seeds to my yogurt. It is a great way to start the day.

One last very important note for all my Ageless Mothers. There is research that shows that one of the reasons there is so much vaccine damage happening is that many babies born today do not have the right “gut flora” because their mothers did not have the right “gut flora” when they were pregnant and nursing.
