Be sure to drink plenty of water before during and after you sit in the sauna. I take a jumbo glass of ice water in with me and sip on it the entire hour. You can gradually work your way up to 130 – 140 degrees. If at any time you are feeling overwhelmed lower the temperature or get out.

Once you are done you want to immediately take a cool shower to wash off the toxins you just sweated out and to close your pores.

My only regret is that I bought the smallest one they have, The Malibu, which is around $2,200. They call it a 2 person sauna, but it is only big enough for 2 people who do not mind dripping sweat all over each other. Something my own husband refuses to do.
